Six Side Seal Ten Oaks’ Unfinished strip products come with the Six Side Seal, a urethane moisture barrier seal wrapped completely around EACH PIECE of flooring. It is sanded and finished at the jobsite like a normal strip floor. » Reduces likelihood of warping, cupping and cracking due to seasonal moisture changes. » Contains anti-mold/bacterial additives to reduce allergens. » Minimizes and isolates damage from underfloor leaks. » Provides physical barrier to wood eating insects. » Protects flooring from jobsite stains before sanding. » Enhances color/character inspection at mill and jobsite. » Allows more accuracy in milling resulting in less overwood.
